straight skirt with two sets of folds on the front and back, run to the center. This model is a very easy to perform and requires only minimal preparation of the assembly of the folds, for which, following the lines marked on the pattern, we draw on the fabric length, depth and direction of them. We use the classical system of "loose basting" as shown in the photograph below. Once done, proceed to baste the hem, also sew the folds in the correct direction and sew on the inside, from the waist to the ceilings set in the pattern line (hip).
If we get an open seam effect, bring strips of organza cut on the bias or lining in the seam assembly. We open these seams with an iron and ironed the creases thoroughly also, so they are well marked.
The rest of the skirt assembly is normal for any skirt: We close the side seams, assemble the rack on one side, we apply the view (waist), waist, add the backing, etc.. PATTERN AVAILABLE - Available
